In order to promote the inter-religious and inter-ethnic dialogue through joint collective actions, in the period July 27-28, representatives of the partner organization Centar Manjinske Zajednice from Kosovo were on a study visit to Prilep and our association.
The study visit was realized in cooperation between NDI Kosovo and NDI North Macedonia in order to increase cooperation between “sister municipalities” within the #WBRF program.
During the visit, the guests had the opportunity to visit various cultural, religious and historical facilities in Prilep and the surrounding area. They visited the Old Church “St. Annunciation” and the Greek Church in Prilep, followed by a visit to the 11th October Museum dedicated to the history of Prilep from the 20th century. The first day ended with a visit to the Park of the Revolution – Mound of the Invincibles.
On the second day of the visit, the participants visited the Clock Tower and the Charshi Mosque in the center of Prilep, and then the mosque in Trizla. The short trip was rounded off with a visit to the Treskavec monastery in the vicinity of Prilep.
During the visit, the two organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding for future cooperation.
